We can't say enough about Morten Antonsen and his professional and outstanding craftsmanship... We remodeled our fireplace wall. Removing the small fireplace and replaced it with a larger stylish modern gas fireplace that is now centered on the wall and mounted a 75" TV above it and rocked the entire wall. He was very accommodating got any changes that were made and still got the project done by our deadline of Thanksgiving. We love the beautiful alder wood cabinets he built for us with metal screen fronts to hide our tv components, and the lighting he added is stunning and lights up the entire wall beautifully. If you are looking to remodel your home, you couldn't find a better person than Morten Antonsen.

We just finished a project with Morten the Viking Craftsman. Morten did a complete rebuild of our living room builtin cabinets to accommodate a new flat screen TV configuration. We found Morten by researching online. From our very first conversation Morten was professional and knowledgeable. We have had challenges with contractors in the past, as most people have, but that was not the case here. Morten did an outstanding job, he was a pleasure to work with and did exceptional work. We hired Morten to update our kitchen, replace our front and back doors, and build a covered patio area and grill island. We were looking for a contractor that did quality work and kept his client's needs as priority. We were referred to him by a friend who did some sub-contracting work for him. And Morten has lived up to this recommendation in every way.

From the conception of the project (and we didn't know everything we wanted or needed) to design to the construction and finishing touches, Morten kept us informed of our choices and the impacts of those choices on the rest of the project and budget. He didn't try to rush the project or take longer than we were willing to live with. He communicated with us throughout the project so that we knew what to expect each week.

He does a lot of work himself and the work that he does need to subcontract out, he holds to the same standards he would himself. And his invoices are spelled out in detail so you know what you are paying for.

Overall, we are extremely happy with this project and with the quality Morten put into it. We will certainly use him for any future projects we dream up.

The Viking Craftsman successfully completed a unique and very difficult rebuild of a wood frame stucco (both sides) wall in our home. The project included demolition of the wall while sparing an expensive fountain and rebuilding the wall with waterproof materials and restoring the fountain to full function. The job required careful and thoughtful attention to detail as well as the ability to solve unexpected problems along the way. The job included plumbing, electrical, paint, and oversight of stucco and masonry subcontractors. The Viking Craftsman saw the entire project through to successful completionand he maintained regular and effective communication with me throughout. I can recommend him very highly and without reservation.

Morton did a complete....down to bare walls!...master bath remodel for us. He did an amazing job. He was very pleasant to work with, offered great ideas as we planned the project and did every part of it focused on doing his very best. We designed the cabinet style together...turned out great!! He did the tile work himself from the face of the tub, in the shower area, the floor to the mirrors framed with stone. We wanted a heated floor...he did that. How much fun in the winter to step on warm tile!

We would recommended him, and we have, to anyone planning a remodel project!

We hired The Viking Craftsman after going through a NARI open home show in Plano. We met the owner who does all of the work himself. We had him give us an estimate for a remodel in our master bathroom. He gave us some great suggestions, as an example a heated floor that we just loved! After hiring him he was always on time and worked until he was waiting on supplies. He also cleaned up after himself and was honest with how long it was going to take. We were very happy with our remodel. We also recommended him to a few friends.

We were looking for a contractor to update our master bedroom and bath. The Viking Craftsman was recommended to us by a friend. After interviewing Morten Antonson, the owner of The Viking Craftsman, and several contractors, we knew that we were going to work with Morten. Because of the quality of his work, attention to detail and constant follow-up throughout the project, we once again reached out to Morten to work with us on completely remodeling a 3,600 square foot home purchased five years later.
